Academic status: Mistakeology is an emerging field founded by Dr Tom Hitchcock and opened to research, criticism and practical application. Formal recognition by a university, dictionary publisher or professional body is not claimed.
Dr Tom Hitchcock
Tom is a business coach, speaker and human-services agitator who has spent decades inside messy organisations — and one foot outside them. He founded Mistakeology to replace reflexive blame with better questions, then turn curiosity into action.
The discipline is not meant to be protected from criticism. It is meant to become sturdier because researchers, educators, leaders and gloriously curious humans test it.
